Doing some work to get ready for the football season. First is I got some info about the new stadium Grand Haven is building. I read that it will hold around
6,000. I figure this puts them inline with Hudsonville and Jenison for size. Not bad but not in the same size as East Kentwood. As for the comments done by
the School Board, they just said it is better than EGR but frankly any OK Red school could get better than EGR.
Of course it looks like Dearborn Fordson has gone with infill now. They company is General Sports Turf according to the Board of Ed so chalk one up to them. As for other schools I guess I will have to look through the board minutes of these schools to get any idea.
Some other info I found is that GST is going to move to North Carolina this year so thats something else I will have get changed. Some other info that I dont think has been talked about lately is uhm that school down south has decided to switch to Field Turf infill turf. So there ya go another Big 10 school going with the artificial which makes it number 6 on the list. Sprinturf apprears to begin making some moves. According to thier site it has been bought out by a group that specializes in making small bussiness large bussiness. Nothing new with Prograss. I am concerned that they have closed shop since nothing has been posted on thier list of facilities since 2005.
